Mission Statement
Head and Heart Ministry is forged from the fires of temptation, addiction, and deliverance. Knowing first-hand the curse of the sins of our fathers, and with deep scars from the chains of bondage, we profess the freeing power of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Hence, we answer the call of Isaiah 61:1, 3: “to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captive . . .” It is a ministry of hope to those who carry the burden of guilt and shame as a result of the actions of those bound by sexual sin. We profess that God’s plan is “. . . to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.”
Our desire is to allow God to use what He has revealed through our personal experiences, and through other resources, to offer hope to those affected by sexual sin. More importantly, we acknowledge that all hope begins with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. And, through it all . . . “To God be the Glory!”
